Cover Letter

This phase was the toughest. It pushed me to really really think about what it is I’m researching. I was told to choose a topic for this new assignment that we have gotten. The researched essay which is basically what we write about a topic of our choosing. We have to research it and then write our discoveries. In this assignment, I chose the topic of propaganda and I got to work. As I’m doing this assignment I tend to get stuck a couple of times. I need to find the information but these sources are telling me otherwise. 

For this research essay, my audience would be anyone who is interested in this topic. I had to use the right choice of words to be able to grab my audience into what they were reading about. 

In this phase, I really liked getting to choose a topic of our choosing. Our options were extensive and we were really able to get our ideas out there. Something that we are interested in we can do.

In this phase of writing, I felt like context mattered the most as well as the author because there always needs to be context in writing. Can’t have the readers confused when they’re trying to understand what it is they’re reading about and how it makes sense. 

I was able to analyze texts and put them into my writing so I could put in my thoughts and create ideas about what it was I was writing about.
