Cover Letter

In this phase I was able to tell my own personal story about literature and language. I told my own story to an audience of people with similar experiences or just people who wanna be able to tell their stories the way I told mine. Mainly other students who come across my writing. I want them to be able to feel like they can share their own story. To feel proud of how far they accomplished what they did accomplish.

Throughout this assignment and phase I felt I was pushed when it comes to thinking about what shaped me to be the writer and person I am. When it came to this language and literacy I really had to tread back far and come up with what made me better with writing. I know that there is always some sort of room to improve and build up upon because in life there’s always gonna be mistakes and with mistakes you get to learn from them. It creates character. 

I feel that authors and audiences are very important when it comes to writing pieces because with every author comes a new experience. Every author has something to show and you could see it when it comes to what you’re reading. When you are reading you can also see that some stories are tailored more toward the audience so that when a person is reading they could go like “Oh wow I feel the same way.” or “Wow this story really resonates with me.”

A course learning outcome this could’ve showed me was the empower and oppress language users because this was my story so I had the power to shape it any way I wanted it to be and what came out of it was a pretty decent story in my eyes.
